Sarah Singh is a mixed media artist that uses dry media, paint, embroidery, and printmaking techniques to talk about paradox, borders, identity, lineage, peace, and tension. She holds a BA from the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at NYU, an MA in Twentieth Century US History, and an MFA in Drawing and Painting from Tulane University. Her solo show Discerning the familiar is on display at Tulane’s Diboll Gallery 1440 Canal St. through December 2026. Sarah is an alumni of the Water Collaborative’s Brackish Artist Cohort and served as the Aquarium Gallery’s September Artist in Residence in New Orleans. Her recent exhibitions include Partition is Imaginary at the Seattle Office of Arts and Culture, Slow Open: the Process of Revealing Yourself, at Burnt Canoe Studios, and The only line that is true is the line you are from, her MFA Thesis show in the Newcomb Art Department Carroll Gallery.
